Anyone got a UUC SSK installed in their Car?

Looking to see if anyone in the SD has a UUC ssk installed in their car.

I wanted to see if they shift feel is different in your car or is it something wrong with my ssk.

Everyrone on this forums says you can shift faster with the ssk but I found the ssk seems to add "crunchs" between shifts. Especially between 1-2.

I recently did a Mt fluid flush but I am still not happy with it.

Sorry to say this, but you should have bought a Rogue Engineering SSK. UUC's technology is old and is known to have issues like this.

If you can swing it, sell the UUC and get an RE SSK....you'll definitely be happier.

Thanks for the input.

I just wanted to see if my shifter is consistent with the experience other people are having with the kit as well.

I drove my friends oem shifter and it felt smooth. Now I haven't been driving Mt for that long so I am not sure what people mean when they say notchiness/rubbery feeling.

My EVO3 shifts fine but I do notice improved shifting after a tranny flush. I never installed the DSSR because I didn't feel the side-to-side play was worth the trouble to do the job. It's shelved in the garage.

PM me if you want to link up somewhere in north county San Diego.
