M Division elected to offer a retrofit stabilising aero kit on request?
I was reading this M2 review
http://www.motormag.com.au/reviews/1...bmw-m2-review/ and was struck by the quote below: "The 1 Series M Coupe was even rougher and cruder, and it was so unsettled and twitchy at very high speeds that M Division elected to offer a retrofit stabilising aero kit on request." Anyone know what they are talking about? Was there a factory aero kit given to Australians and Germans? Anyone have pictures of it? |

I'm guessing they're referring to the carbon lip spoiler, which sounds like it wasn't available as an option immediately?? Not sure on that. OZ cars definitely didn't get them stock. |

The trunk-lip spoiler on the 1M is about as useless a fashion accessory as it gets. There is no way on earth it serves any function as a "stabilising aero kit".
