2006 Z4i vs Z4si

I originally had a '99 Z3 2.8. I had it for 7 years and sold it in April of '06. I miss it and want to get back into a Z.

2006 is the first year that there was and i and a si. The i has more horsepower but less torque than my '99. The si has both more horsepower and torque than the '99.

Has anyone on the forum had experience with the performance characteristics of the i vs the si? Is there a huge difference between the i and the si? I am assuming that both will be faster than the '99 Z 3.

Thanks for the help.

I see that most people are happy with what they drive here.

My recommendation is if you get the i don't drive the si and you won't know what you are missing That is the reason I haven't driven an M yet.

Very true! I drove the i, si, and the M. The M ruined it for me ever buying the other two models!
