Who has experience with Opal White interior?
I am going for Sakhir Orange exterior and Opal White Extended Merino Leather for the interior.
Who had before Opal White interior? did you have major issue with keeping it clean/in good shape? what did you do for maintenance? Thanks |

Amazing looking, but i wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole...
As for maintenance, you need to worry about denim transfer and you should be prepared to clean/condition at least once a month

I love mine and think it's extremely pretty. That being said, you do have to be careful with it. I dont wear jeans, but, I hear they can mark up the seat pretty badly. I do get mine detailed on a monthly basis. No major issues so far, I just keep it clean and make sure that no one is putting shoes on the seats or eating 4 course meals in the car or things like that.

No experience with Opal White, but I do have Ivory White which isn't as white as Opal White...and it sucks! I wear jeans all the time and my seat will look nasty if I don't clean it at least once a month. I'm ocd and like to keep things clean, overtime if you don't have passengers often you'll notice your seat a different shade than the rest of the seats. Also you'll have a dirty spot on the arm rest where you usually rest your arm. Stay away from white, or any other light interior.
One of the main reasons I wouldn't keep this car after my term is up is because of the white seats. |

Use Leather Master Barrier, and their strong cleaner and you should be able to remove most dirt. But here's a secret product just in case, check my post here http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1213715 and the link to the AG post where deep plastic cleaner was used to bring back heavily soiled leather seats.

I've owned it for 9 months now and it still looks brand new. I also drive with a towel on my seat so I don't leave stains from jeans. Totally worth it IMO, however be prepared for maintenance. |
