Front Bumper Adjustment
I had my bumper resprayed about a month or so ago, and when the garage put it back on they didn't line up the driver side properly. Its not a major gap but enough to make a difference. I may take it back to the garage and have them sort it but was wondering if it was easy enough to do I could do it myself and save someone else messing with my car again. I will take a photo when it's light. |

It's obviously too late. Could some kind soul move this to the appropriate forum. I thought I'd selected the cosmetic forum but obviously not.

I had mine replaced with an Aero bumper. I was hit in a parking lot - not any major damage but the bumper got marred up, head light brackets snapped and slight fender tip bend.
Well when they went to install the new Aero bumper and the bumper fender clip was broke. They had to order a replacement. I wonder if they broke yours and didn't replace it . |

9 times out of 10 it's the support bracket. Anything else (minor) could be adjusted by loosening the torx bolts by the weather stripping.

I agree.
Shops often break them during disassembly.

Depends on what part of the bumper you are speaking of. If you're talking about the part near the wheel well then it is a broken bracket as already mentioned. Those things break so easily that I would buy new ones if I ever redid my bumper.
If you're talking about the alignment with the hood then you can pop your hood and loosen the screws that run along the top of the bumper. Press against the bumper and relighted screws. Repeat if necessary. |

Additionally, if a new bracket doesn't fix the issue, it could be that the bumper has worn away where it contacts the bracket. If that's the case, you could add a screw to the backside that goes through the bracket and bumper to hold it all in place. That's how some aftermarket bumpers keep in place.
