So far I've only heard one video of this set-up but it wasn't the greatest quality.. hoping more people could post up some videos.

I have this set up and I personally think it sounds great. I'd say a good 30-40% louder than stock exhaust with valves open. I think it cleans up the stock exhaust note nicely and really pops/cracks if you lift off in sport or sport plus. I only have videos of cold start, but potentially can try and get a few good fly-bys and take offs this week.

I have just installed this set up this weekend. In two words - do it. Much deeper sound. About 35% louder. Its almost impossible to catch it with a video especially given the car does not sound that good in neutral. What is great is that there is almost zero rasp and the cold starts.... Oh, those cold starts are now amazing

Link below has the video, hope this helps some of you in making a decision.

Unfortunately, it's off my iPhone as I don't have proper recording equipment.

Sounds good.. manual transmission and y pipe only? Did your exhaust get pushed out farther when you installed it (i.e. made tips stick past rear bumper more)? Thanks for the video!

@JamesGames yes, manual and just the midpipe. The tips did stick out after install. I'd say around 1/2" more.

I haven't seen anyone else report that, so not sure why that happened to me. I had a shop verify install was done correctly and aside from some clearance with the brace and midpipe a there were no other issues (exhaust hangers weren't flexing or anything of that nature)

I had the shop cut the tabs off where the clamps push up against it; this allowed me to push the tips further back to my liking.

Hope that answers your questions.

I don't think you're alone, I only asked because I've seen cars with the Ypipe where the exhaust stuck out.. so I guess some trimming needed to fit this with OEM rear section.

@JamesGames Interesting, because like I said the exhaust hangers didn't appear to be stretched as if the rear section was being pushed by the midpipe.

Not a big deal to me, but others may not want to cut those tabs off if they ever need to reinstall the stock tips.

Totally worth it though because it makes the s55 bearable
