Individual Color on X5M (in US)

Ordering at the end of the year and started to deliberate on colors. A couple of questions re individual colors on X5M (my client advisor is clueless on this issue).

1. Are the colors that are offered on regular X3/X4/X5/X6 (i.e., those made a Spartanburg) available on X5M? If so, what is cost? I have read that cost is less if it is available on another model produced at same factory but cannot find anything definitive.

2. Are other colors available that are not used at Spartanburg? Specfically, I find Singapore Grey very striking. If so, what is cost? From what I have been able to determine this should be $5000.

Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

IIRC there are only 2 individual colors available on the F85. Someone will chime in soon, though, who knows the deets...

I believe jcfay is correct. There are specific Individual colors for the F85, and they won't do any others.

There's definitely someone on the forum with connections at BMW who can explain it!

Looks like he may be correct. It appears Spartanburg won't do individual colors on any vehicle (other than a couple of ones that show up on the builder). That's a real bummer as I'm not wild about any of the current color options. Oh well, guess I will have to go with my default which is black.

My BMW sources say that the Spartanburg plant is being fitted to be capable of the true Individual Division that BMW offers, but it isn't live yet. I'm led to believe this will become more readily available once the expansion in Spartanburg's plant is completed. Until this time, the only Individual options for the X vehicles are the limited "quasi-Individual" colors BMW lists in their order system.

Singapore grey seems to be offered on both the other S63 engine cars (M5, M6). Dunno if that really means much. I'd be curious to know whether tanzanite blue or pure metal silver are available on the XM cars
