Indicator Lamp for Passenger Airbag

Please help me as I feel I am going crazy ! I could swear that the indicator lamp for the Passenger Airbag in the roofliner never stayed on before. but now after my car was updated to 59.1 by dealer, i noticed the light stated on.

The manual indicates the proper operation, but I cant recall if it was always ON when there is no passenger, or it flashed then it went off.

Thanks for the excuse to go for a drive!

Mine appears to stay on too - although I did forget to look after the first 30 seconds of driving

Thanks dinonz ! Maybe it's always been on and never noticed it until now as my "paranoia" is ON with the recent 59.1 update... And now the car feels slow:

You think it really is slower after that update?

I was being a bit silly, who knows if it's all in our heads or not. I had 58.3 and now it's 59.1 and few key ECUs got new firmware.

Yeah - I thought it was tongue in cheek - but I wondered.

Hello Aboulfad,

Today I drove, again, to Quebec City so I had 3 hours to check things out.

Your question came to mind about half way and, yes, the light for passenger airbag is always ON.

I don't remember exactly the version I'm on but I'm sure you do. 58 something.
