yellow brake light and DTC

Hi guys,

since this is one of the largest bmw community I though I can come here for help.
I have a 03 z4 2.5i smg, while driving today the yellow brake light and dtc came on. I have heard this could be the wheel sensor, battery , steering wheel sensor and another 3-4 different things so my question is has anybody had this issue before and what is the fix.

These lights come on my 3.0l roadster as well for a few days.....then the go off.

anyone got any suggestions - are these sensors easy and cheap to change?
