I love my car

So, went with dad to the Benz dealership today cause he was having headlight issues (2nd time now) they took the car in for a faulty computer so they gave us a 07 Black C230 6MT

Of course my dad was the "only one" driving it, not! Took it for a spin before/after on my way to the gym and after dinner with the parents. All I can say is the clutch is non-existent, the shifter is tall and sloppy and surprisingly the 2nd gear notchiness we experience is there as well just not as prevalent because of the tall shifter. Oh right, the kicker, the engine was almost silent even up at red-line I had to look twice to see if it was time to shift.

So, earlier tonight went bowling with some friends and hopped in my Z4. Wow I drove like a jackass. The car was way more responsive, the clutch pedal was much stiffer and the shifts were short and to the point. Not to mention non-sport mode felt like sport mode after the lacking C230. I was smiling ear to ear all over again.

I love my Z4

lol, nice. My loaner when I was buying my Zed (as I haven't had to have any service and I had to run some errands) was a 5 series with a V8. Those things have some get up but seeing the gas guage waver everytime I floored it was not so nice.

I actually say "I love my car" daily. Whenever the moment is right, like going over the river, blue skies, and temps right under 70, today was good.

Yeah, it got to 56 degrees today, finally able to get the windows down

Also, took my motorcycle to the shop for some maintenance (I am too lazy) and my spedo says it is much faster but oddly my Zed (yes a 3.0si) feels faster somehow?
