Active Autowerke | X5M X6M Downpipes

Available now!

X5M X6M Catless Downpipes

- 100% 304 Stainless construction
- OEM-Style flex joint with meshed cage
- Perfect O2 bung alignment to accept the OEM heat shield
- Mandrel bent 3" straight through configuration
- Hand built in the USA

We've been manufacturing S63/tu downpipes for a few years and have perfected the fitment to ease installation as much as possible. Our downpipes allow the OEM heat shield to be installed above the O2 sensors and also utilize a flex joint that is modeled after the OEM ones. All of our downpipes hand TIG welded using a donor S63 engine as a jig. This allows us to guarantee perfect fitment with every single set.

The catless, straight through design reduces back pressure allowing the turbos to spool faster resulting in quicker engine revs and increase horspower and torque. We used the largest radius bends possible to maximize exhaust velocity and keep temps down, making these the most efficient and best performing downpipes on the market.

We have options to fit every S63 or S63 TU equipped vehicle!

Unfortunately we don't have an AWD dyno here at the shop. However, gains should be similar to our M5 downpipe numbers as pictured below. +25whp and +21 ft-lbs.

Anyone running these on a dinan stage 2?

I'm thinking since the tune isn't designed for catless DP it will run super rich and kill the injectors, plugs and sensors.

Thoughts?

Hi, does the ECU throw up an error when it doesn't see the CAT converters? How do you clear it?

You can't and it's a permanent code since it's related to emissions that can never be cleared, even if you get rid of the light on the dash.

It will void parts of your powertrain if your car is still under warranty.
