So MAD!

So, it was 56 degrees yesterday, wonderful. I loved it, got a bunch of work on my Mustang and bike done and was planning on doing some riding.

Today, not even thinking to check the weather I pull the Z out and drive it (30+ minutes) to work. Get to work and now I just find out we are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow today. WTF!

I am sick of this winter now. I love the north and all but come on. It is the end of March already! I am thinking of just taking the day off and going back to sleep.

+1 but we always seem to get one in April....
& it still needs to warm up some, b4 we'll get much grip out of the summers

It was supposed to snow here a couple nights ago...didn't see a single flake...past couple days it has been 50's...beautiful weather

77 here at 7:57pm ... it'll be hotter than hell before too long, but other than the brutal summers, the weather in Phoenix is tough to beat.

I thought Shoeless Joe played for the Yankees... but I really don't know much about baseball so I could be way way off.

Mounty (sp?) hat sounds similar to MountMe hat... it is probably something you wear to the bar if you are looking for some tail.

Shoeless Joe was "Shoeless" Joe Jackson who played for the Boston Blacksocks and was involved in the Wold Series scandel in the nineteen teens (maybe 1919?). He was from Greenville, SC and acquired the nickname "Shoeless" Joe because he could not afford shoes when he was a kid delivering papers.

Same here. I put on my summer wheels back on Monday night and it snowed yesterday. Good thing nothing really accumulated while I was on the road.

I'm a bay area native who then spent 20 years in coastal OC before being exiled to Phoenix 4 years ago. Talk about an adjustment! That first summer was brutal. But I've adjusted and love it here now.
