If the new X5 model is in fact released in Aug 2017 as a 2018 model as some have predicted, then the next X5M should appear sometime in 2019 - maybe as a 2019 model for short year or 2020 model if released later in the year.

strange how they wont make a facelift , maybe the 17s idrive is considered as a new updated model who knows
