Stock pads are inadequate for serious track use (expected). Solution: Use proper track pads.

Calipers turn green with heavy track use, I would have preferred a black caliper. Solution: Don't look at the calipers .

That's it for me .

LOL SSG again.

My only complain is the rotor rust getting on the wheels after a fresh wash. As far as mechanical issues go: none. No noise hot, cold or frozen. As mentioned above track pads make these brakes track ready. Calipers will turn green under EXTREME track use, the novice track guy will have blue calipers at the end of the weekend.

I found the slightly lower friction Pagid RS29 pad won't turn your calipers green. However, going to a higher friction RSL-1 definitely changed the caliper color, in my experience.

I have brake cooling ducts on the front but my tears have changed slightly and I'm using rs29 pads

I also use RS29 and my front calipers are a nice shade of aqua turquoise .

Lots of brake dust up front, surprisingly little in the rear though. There was uneven pad deposits on my rotors after one track day but it hasn't happened since. I was getting brake fade at the end of the day, probably due to the stock brake fluid.
