Aeromotion wing or gt4 wing
I am going for aero next year, and I would like to get opinion for those who has aero, and specially those that have tried 2 type of wings....huge ass ones like bimmerworld, aeromotion and the smaller wings like apr 1000.
I see that in US, race cars, the bigger the better, but in europe, why do I see so many race cars running small wings? my concern is that for my 333hp car and 3000lbs, the huge ones would actually be more harmful than beneficial. so in your case, would you go for aeromotion or gt4? I wish i could test both at the track LOL. |

Downforce is as much about balance as anything else. If you are really loose, you need more rear. Bad understeer - front. You can't throw a giant wing on a car and say more is better.
Downforce in balance will help you on a track. Associated is parasitic drag. More drag = slower straight-line speed. You need to know what your limiting factors are and go from there. This is also very different for each car because mechanical grip is part of the equation as well. Sorry not to have answer, but kb9uwu was asking what you need in your setup =)
