Adding App icons to Apple CarPlay

Does anyone know how to add/delete App icons to the Apple CarPlay screen? I can't quite figure it out.

Apps are chosen and approved by Apple to icons in CarPlay.

If you want to remove icons or add icons within the list of approved apps, you can do that through Settings on you iPhone.
