The last E90 M3
I just purchased a late 2011 E90 M3 and would love to find some more facts regarding its rarity.
Does anyone know where to find info regarding when the last E90 M3 was built? My build completion I believe was July 26th of 2011 |

I don't know the last exact production date, but my 2011 ZCP E90 was produced in October of 2011 (don't have the exact day), which was when the production run officially ended.

IMHO, while scarcity or rarity might bode well in the future, I'm enjoying the car for what it is today. Yes, if I'm a betting man, I think the 2011 e90 m3 w/ZCP will be the one that might be more sought after, but I don't really know that and I'd rather "collect" more now than in the future

agreed above ^
There's no doubt this E9X M3 will be a real time classic, especially in the E90 form. Sedan is rare, ppl seem to love the "sports sedan 6MT" recipe. Plus, S65 is one of the best sounding, real race engine (not "inspired" bs engine) that was born FROM a race car, and further used TO race cars. After all, this S65 was used in several sports cars including race cars and independent super car builders. In the world today where BMW is building a front wheel drive MPV, sticking a commonly used inline 6 with 2 mitsubishi turbo and call it an M, this E90 M value will only go up in the near future. With that said, I'm planning to drive the damn car and enjoy this era instead of counting its mileage every weekend and worry. If I'm lucky enough to have this car in one piece and maintain (yes the bearings lol) properly, It will stay in my garage as long as I'm here, and it'll proudly have a 200,000mile on the odometer

Back in 2014 when I was looking for an M3, I test drove a 2009 model with 207K Km on the clock and it drove better than a 2008 model with 76K KM on it (that I drove that morning). It felt perfect, no slop, just a tight little M3 coupe. I was tempted but walked away as it didn't fit my criteria (and I couldn't bring myself to buy my dream car with that many K's).
But I will happily drive mine to 200K +++

Well, that would certainly explain all of the crumbs and wrappers that magically appear in my backseat on a regular basis....
Oh, wait...that is my kids...

The e90 is uber rare car,it's great when ever I see one . I have ISF total worldwide products in 7 years was 1157 of that 5118 were sold in USA. Both cars vary rare indeed, just to give idea how rare. They made more Ferrari 458 then e90 or ISF a total of over 18000 458 were built during its run. So you can tell people that ask how rare is your car it's rare than Ferrari 458 take that lol.

I usually check the rareness by color. My internals (Rod Bearings, etc) are beet red, i.e. it's rare. What's your internals look like?

I hate to say it, but 4 doors are rarely worth more than their 2 door counterparts. Even though there were more e92's produced. Not sure if I can find any examples of this.

You can already see E90's going for more than E92's of the same year, condition, and mileage. I still see '11 E90's with 50k+ miles going for low to mid 40's while E92's are dipping into high 30's to low 40's. As a E92 owner, sometimes I wish bought a E90 instead just for the resale values. But when I look at the sleek coupe lines combined with the CF roof all that thought goes out the window.
