Soon to be new owner intro
Hi All
First time poster here, I have been an avid Rennlist user for years and have owned a 996, two 928's and a Boxster. My current 928S4 is going to a new home, and the garage space is being filled with a 2008 E90 M3. 25,000 original miles, 6 speed Silverstone exterior/interior. Only mods are front wheel spacers and 295's on the rear (not sure i like the pinched look on the factory wheels). Otherwise clean car, had the clutch replaced with the updated one under warranty. Anyway attached are a couple of obligatory pics |

That's what I have been hearing. Also I didn't realize how rare the sedan was. The whole rod bearing thing is freaking out out of bit. Getting an extended aftermarket warranty to cover that and the throttle actuators.

I actually had to look that up! The shifting is short and feels nice. Here are better pics.

I have exactly the same car and you're going to love it.
25k on an '08 is a rare find - well done! Mine has 80k miles and still running strong. The SSII and Palladium interior combo seems fairly rare, so enjoy!

Clutch take-up is still great and I'm running on original rod bearings and throttle actuators. I'll probably do the RBs in the next year. I also put in an AFE intake and BPM stage 1 tune. Great, easily reversible mods IMHO.

SSII is not actually a rare color on the E90 M3, especially in the 2008 model year where 483 were imported. For 2008 it was the 2nd most popular color with Jerez Black having the most at 690 cars out of total of 2280 for 2008 model year.
For the LCI E90s, there were only 384 SSII out of 3587 cars, so it's much rarer in the 2009-2011 years. Here's a link to model year/paint breakdown:http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...4&postcount=59 Cheers, Chuck (SSII owner also)
