Think dealer will install alcantara wheel for free the same time as warranty airbag?

Do you think a dealer will be willing to install a alcantara wheel for FREE the same time as I have them do the warranty airbag work?

Just pay the half hour they will charge to do it. Since steering wheel removal isn't required for the airbag replacement, they won't include the wheel install in the recall claim. You'll have to pay out of pocket for that. Don't cheap out over a half hour labor.

Last time I had a dealer quote a half hour verbally, it magically rounded up to an hour.

They will replace your airbag for free if the steering wheel was recalled

They'll probably make you pay double, claiming that they'll need to take off the old wheel, install the bag, reinstall THEN take the old wheel off, uninstall the bag then repeat the process with the new alcantara wheel.

Just a suspicion...

Yeah, a half hour of "dealer labor" can't be much more than two or three times the residual value of the car, right?
