Removing scuff on steering wheel

This is just a paranoia but there's this weird half circle mark next to the emblem on my steering wheel. It seems like an abrasion of some sort, could have been there since car was new but I just happened to notice it now and now It has become an eye sore. I tried magic eraser which was unsuccessful, do u guys have any other recommendations?

Looks like a a molding issue with the airbag, and not a scratch. If so, take it back to the dealer for the defect.

Do you hit the horn really hard? Airbags have break points so that when it goes off, it breaks in certain parts. Those parts are pre cut. You've found that spot, and by hitting your horn too hard youre exposing that area

do you think they can just replace that top piece, or is it more invasive than that? if so it might not be worth it

so I researched a bit and they have to change the whole airbag piece, seems like a quick job but idk if they will do it for a cosmetic reason only, but I guess its worth a shot
