Increased Emission.. No it's not TA:)

After fueling, I got increased emission / service engine soon light. TA has been changed about an year ago.. My guess is one of the o2 sensor is going south. Car drives fine (no limp mode)..Has anyone else experience this in the past?

Also, what would be the most affordable wifi OBDII scanner/reader? I'm aware of carly (sp?)...Any other tools in the market allows me to read and reset codes?

Thanks in adv.

Soooo many threads on this...the dreaded increased emissions message. Do a search here for the many many reasons for this message. I have my own story....after my local dealer switched out pre cat O2 sensors under warranty thinking that would fix it....it didn't. Mine turned out to be a faulty low fuel pressure sensor...which I told them about after reading the voluminous threads on the IE error HERE on the M3 forums :-). As I said before...this is just one of many possible reasons. Good luck.

Mine was caused by the thermostat remaining stuck open causing longer warmup times.

Going through this right now. Just changed my Thermostat and still have the light on. I am now going to changed the Low pressure fuel sensor and go from there.
