question regarding bmw part #
I have a 2010 M3 and my A/C control panel died on me last week.
When I called the dealership they told me that according to my car's VIN # the part # for the A/C control panel is 9292262. and that retail cost of the part is $782. and wholesale price is $625. I found this part on ebay that came from a 2011 M3. and is selling for only $148. but it has a different part number would that be an issue? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-BMW-M3-...3D172141840489

According to this link on realoem.com when I put the part number they told me at the dealership 64119292262. it give me a list of other parts...and one of the numbers listed there is the part # of the unit I found on Ebay. So does that mean it would work?

Match the pic with yours then you should be fine... I have seen some controls with the seat heater switches on the control unit and some where the switch is under the radio...

yeah the picture is identical to the unit in my car. I didn't know if maybe in the electronics behind it or connectors were any different. but from the front the picture looks identical to the unit in my car.

Okay
First of all, you do not just get *any* one of them, because if you go to realoem, there 6 available http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=64_1443 Your VIN, tells you that you need any one of first three where S494A=Yes 64119221852 64119242409 64119248580 The only difference other than the heated seat buttons is the ALL/REST button. I forgot which, but later model years says ALL, I think, or the other way around. Another option is to take out the one in your car and find the PN |
