coding? tune?

So i recently purchased a 2013 e92 zcp m3 about a month ago and I just realized it does not make the "gong" noise when i first get in and start the car.. also with the car running and i remove my seatbelt there is no seatbelt light or sound. Am i trippin here or is this a coding thing? sorry i am a noob but i learn fast

This car had a full meisterschaft exhaust ( everything from oem primary cats back) when i bought it and i can't tell if it makes that normal M3 Catalytic Converter Cold Start Heat Cycle sound. I test drove a bunch of these but all where stock exhaust and the cold start thing was very noticeable on them but not on this one i bought. Wondering if it has some kind of tune?

Probably does it or it would be blistering loud with that setup on cold start.

Probably one of the most common things people code to the car is the ability to close the windows with the key fob. Press and hold the unlock button and the windows will open. Now, press and hold the lock button, if your windows close, your car is coded. I am 90% sure its possible to code out the gong. You could have a tuner (like mike ^^) recode your car to restore the gong and add/remove other options to your liking. If you are a DIYer, you could look into Carly For BMW and if you are a fast learner like you say you are :P, look into NCSExpert. Someone will have to chime in if Carly can code the gong back.

As for a tune. One way to know if you have a tune would be to see if you still have a top speed limiter. If you can do 160mph, you have a tune lol.

The cold start cycle is very obvious even on a stock exhaust so if it's not loud, you must be tuned.

Thanks for the tip!... i just gave it a try and looks like no coding has been done on the remote window up/down. as for the gong i am VERY happy i don't hear it! so i assume its been coded out.

I never started the car with the valves open i always kept them closed, i sold the axle back portion however i still have the meisterschaft mid X pipe that is just straight pipe no resonator or 2nd cat.
So its louder in general than all stock oem... so its hard to tell for me on a cold start.
With this much OEM exhaust removed it should run lean so.... i thought it needs a tune just to keep from getting a cel? no?
