Buying a Z4. Need Advice!
I am looking for a 02 or 03 Z4 because that is all I can afford.
What are some of the problems this car has in these years? Do they all have a certain thing that goes wrong at certain mileage like the cooling system on the E46s? |

None that I have heard of. These cars seem to be really reliable if you can put up with some squeaks/rattles when driving on a bumpy road.

There have been a few who reported problems with the steering column, there is a BMW bulletin out on this and my car was repaired under warranty for it. I also had a problem with the rear camber creating improper wear on the inside of the rear tires but overall it has been very good and I agree they seem to be pretty reliable vehicles. Having said all that, personally I would never want to own one out of warranty but that's just me.
