E92 M3 Metal Pedals, Aftermarket?

Please see pic below of the metal pedals on a used 2013 E92 M3 I'm looking at. I've never seen metal pedals on M3s before. Does that mean those are modded aftermarket parts? The car's dealer - owned, and they don't know if the parts are OEM. Anyone with any experiences on those? Thank you very much.

Those are the BMW performance aluminum pedals -

Lots of companies offer aluminum pedals, and lots of forum members have them.

The dead pedal is stock, but you must know that.

Thank you.. So what I'm getting is that the car is modded, and therefore more likely to have been drive more aggressively IMO.

This thread and the tire thread, are you looking for a M3 that's been driven like a Camry?

Seriously, what's your concern? Safe space here..

not necessarily... mods dont mean driven hard. It could also mean that the owner is an enthusiast and has all up to date maintenance and more!

lolwut? Nothing says "driven hard and put away wet" like aftermarket pedals.

OP, don't let cosmetic mods sway your decision.

Do your due diligence overall on the used car and make your purchasing decision based on what you find. Maintenance records, warranty history, rims for curb rash, paint condition and overall wear and tear. Get a Pre-Purchase Inspection (from someone else and not who you are buying it from) and maybe even have a body shop inspect it for any damage the Carfax or Autocheck missed.

This. Have the car brought to another dealer or indy shop to do a PPI. Costs around $300. A must if you want to buy a used performance car. BTW, I have the same pedals. It's the first mod I did. But, it doesn't mean I drive my M like a valet parking attendant.
