Is this a crazy good deal?

2013 m3

Jet black
Black extended
Cold weather package
Premium package
Competition package
Navigation
Dual clutch
Enhanced audio premium sound
Mpe BMW exhaust
77k msrp when built
Cpo until 100k
20,500 miles
$46,500

It's just the colors. Would u consider a black on black a nice color combo with aluminum trim?

Thank you

It's not 'crazy good' but it's ballpark I suppose.

There's not a lot of E9x M3's that are worth over 45K at this point, unless it's a super unique build, BMW Individual paint, Lime Rock, etc.

And CPO doesn't go to 100K...it's 6 years from the in-service date OR 100K miles.

I say it is a fair deal as I purchased a similar build except AW exterior + carbon interior minus MPE from the option list. Very similar miles (24k) first in-service date June 2013. Purchased $50500 because previous owner bought extended maintenance plan ($4k value).
I waited so long, so I had to just buy it. I could've got a better deal, but I guess it's worth since I am enjoying so much

not terrible, but work on them a little bit. maybe try to get $43k. colors are very subjective. i'd personally like a black on black, but others will see it as boring.

Need details on how you bought a 2013 M3 with an in-service date of June 2016? Typo somewhere in there?

Do you understand how CPO works, in terms of coverage based on date and specific breakdowns? Based on your posts, I not sure you do? You make it sounds like it's 6 years from the model year date, and therefore you have FULL coverage until 2019. At least that's how I read into your posts....maybe you don't think that...anyhow...

Let's point out the facts -

-CPO expires 6 years from the 'in-service date.' Half of 2013 in-service dates will be sometime in 2012.
-CPO is not a full extension of the OEM/factory 4 year/50K mile warranty. There's a ton of exclusions, you should read up on those.

I'm not saying it's not worth buying, only you can decide that. But CPO, especially on a 2013 model year as we inch into 2017, probably doesn't have a ton of value at this point.

i think it should be low 40's but you are going to pay a premium for the CPO. the dealership probably values the CPO warranty between $3500-$4500. considering it's dec 2016 you should be good will dec 2018 assuming you don't drive 80K miles in 2 years. also as much as you hear about throttle actuators and rod bearings it might be worth it. you could beat on your car for 2 years and hope they go within the 2 years and then laugh at the dealer when they fix it on their dime.

dealerships are also banking on the fact the v8 might be the last NA M3. that does hold some value in the market. how much we have yet to see.

bottom line...it's not a crazy deal. but if you are looking for a low mileage, very clean (assuming it is without pics), m3 with a bmw dealer warranty....you will have to pay to play.

I think it's fair, I remember a member sold his '13 with similar options and 20xxx some miles to Carmax for $42K.....so you can expect Carmax to turn around and sell it for at least a 7-10% mark up, between $45-$47 on the market.

Dealership was firm as hell from the $43,477 price, and I didn't wanna lose the car that had everything I wanted, so yea... IN DA CLUB!

FYI, my post from the how much paid for used M3 thread last Saturday. Check out that thread if you haven't (link below). It's not a bad price IMO, but I think CPO is a peace of mind thing more than anything else, since not much should go wrong within that time frame, if the car is worth buying to begin with.

I have Black on black and at first I was really stocked on a black on black car but now I feel that it's boring might look different to other people but I can't wait until I get recaros and some other colorful things into the car

Black on black is a champion. Only burn is keeping it clean. I literally clean the interior of mine daily because everything shows up. I smoke so the ash no matter how hard I try ends up somewhere in a crack mocking me and driving me nuts. And IMO no other setup looks so nice when clean. I'd paint all the aluminum trim if I were you. Black on black on silver ZCP's is cold as f&$k!

I'd say that's a fair deal. Prices for '13 M3's with CPO and low mileage hasn't seem to drop much even with the new M3's and M4's. Try to lower the price a little but it's pretty on point in today's market.
