WTT: Your 437m refinished/curbed rear wheel for my good condition

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Hello,

I am refinishing a set of 437m wheels and I have a good condition black rear wheel that is in original condition (no curb rash, not refinished) that I want to trade for your refinished/curb rashed rim + $250. I will pay shipping for both wheels. It's a win win for everyone.

The wheel is a 8 out of 10 (IMO). The face is in really good condition. The barrel has some marks from mounting a tire. I doubt they will be visible when mounted.

Thanks,
Scott

I like to think I have an average IQ but apparently I don't. I really don't understand what you are trying to achieve. So you want to trade an imperfect wheel for an imperfect wheel plus $250??

It's really not a difficult concept to understand.

Let me try to break it down to laymen's terms to make it a little easier for you.

You curb your wheel and you can't live with it. You don't want to refinish it because 50% of the time they come back and don't match and at the end of the day your wheel is still refinished. Now you're running the risk that you compound your issue because you still have a wheel that isn't satisfactory and now you also spent $150-$200. You don't want to spend $800 on a brand new wheel. You send me your wheel that is a 5 out of 10 and I will send you a awesome condition 8 out of 10 wheel (IMO) that most people can live with because the imperfections are not visible.

And thus the reason people need to go to reputable refinishers who know BMW Black and Grey are not standard and have color matched them. Yes, they might cost $25-$50 more per wheel, but at least they all match.

And free bump for good seller

I appreciate the sarcasm. If you want customers then you need to make your post clearer from the onset. There were no responses so its clear that I wasn't the only one. Perhaps the post should read your response minus the attitude. I have a wheel that has a rash but I think I will pass on dealing with you.

I really doubt you have a wheel. If you did you would, "with your average IQ", have realized what I was trying to accomplish. You didn't have to agree with it or you could have made an offer but instead you trolled my listing in an attempt to blow it up with your "sarcasm".
