Front lip fit

So I decided to order a front lip from ebay. When I contact seller he told me that it won't fit front M-paket bumper. Even if they have that lip on m-paket front bumper as a profile pic. http://www.ebay.com/itm/331650927989?ul_noapp=true
Anyone knows about similar lip as this one?

That is correct, this will only fit non-M package OEM front bumpers on the 2007-2011 135i.

when i've seen this lip in the past many folk said that it needs to be "massaged" to fit, it never was a direct bolt on. I've heard most use a heat gun to flex it to the curves of the msport front

I'm 99% sure this is exactly what is happening. It looks like it will ONLY fit M-tech bumpers.

They even say in their ad that it will only fit 135s. All 135s have the M-tech kit standard so I would dare say it fits.

The person probably thinks you're asking if it will fit a 1M.

Well I've just found some old thread about this lip. Seems that fitment is bad in most cases.

I will reconsider buying this lip. Seems unnecessarily risky to transport it from US to EU and then deal with problems. Maybe I'll buy it from some EU maker (like Rieger or else) to make it easier just in case.

You could consider this Kerscher replica. It's ABS plastic and from the UK. They also have a carbon fibre version that I have my eye on. Great price!

Thanks. Looks pretty nice. I might take that ABS plastic because... ...road curbs may not be friendly.
