Followed two trucks on highway.

Any advice, used the touch up already. Do I need using the sanding paper to make it looks better?

If the touch up has any high points that you can feel and see, then I'd suggest lightly sanding it down, then using a sealant over it.

Whoa whoa whoa....if you don't have experience with wet sanding you need to do some research before taking sand paper to your M. Please don't just go to a hardware store and grab some sand paper or you'll make the problem way worse.

Agreed with the above.
Watch a YouTube video or two on spot treatments. For little stuff like this, you should be confident in your DIY abilities. Its a whole different story if these chunks were on the hood of your car.

Don't follow trucks on the highway.

3000 or 2000 sand paper? Thanks for your input.

Thanks for your input. I will do the research first and get the right supply to do it.

Agree that a professional wet sanding will give the best results. If the paint has not fully cured and can be removed (I realize that is not likely the case), you could try this: http://www.langka.com/index.php/feat...lob-eliminator

Haha thanks for taking that in stride I couldn't resist. I got stuck behind 2 salting plows on the way home from Vermont in my last car. They were doing like 44 mph and it was all but impossible not to end up too close every so often. I was cringing hearing the big salt particles pinging off the car. . . That stuff can mess you up! It's super frustrating.

Start w/ a 3k grit..... but before you do that you need to have a random orbital buffer to remove the haze that the 3k grit creates. Can you get a better photo that's in focus w/ the flash off? If the rock chips are not on flat surface then I don't recommend wet sanding the area.
