Probably an excellent question to ask of your Sales Advisor?

If it's already at the VPC, I reckon about 2 weeks at most.

Typical wait is 5-6 weeks. The chief delays are from batching - cars the same color are held back and painted the same day, and cars are shipped when the factory has a full load to transport - neither wait is very long, though. The Onwer's Circle site is infamously behind - you'll get a "shipped" notice after you have the car.

Ask the dealer what the code is on it. BMW sends the dealers production code updates once or twice a week that updates them on the status. If it's enroute from the the factory, it shouldn't take too long.

I found the telephone tracking system (800 number) to be much more accurate than the online "owners circle". As for timing: mine was completed at the factory on 7/26/06 and arrived at BMW Seattle on 9/2/06 - so that was 5 weeks.
