Nothing personal. I only post this because I would be sick to my stomach if I discovered this after buying the car.

The car is sold - but just to satisfy the post police . I gave full disclosure to everyone that called of any known paint defects. The wrap does not hide defects. There are a couple of little bubbles where a previous owner had prayed a part of the bumper. The new owner saw them and I pointed them out. I did in fact, as evidence of the copy/paste posts, say that the paint was shot when i should have said "there are a few areas that are shot" because it wasn't perfect. The 8/10 rating reflects the condition it should be for a 2009 car, not a 2017 car. 10 would be perfect for a 2009, but I deducted points for the few defects that were known. I would go as far as to provide a written guarantee to the fact of the paint and it's condition and offer to compensate if it were not as described.
I'd never try to mislead anyone, so I apologize if my post seemed contradictory. The paint condition could also be confirmed by the dealership I bought the car from in Oct '16. This is all neither here nor there at this point, but I felt it needed to be said. Thanks - happy motoring all. |
