Mod update **pics added (not cell fone quality)

Just thought id update everyone with my all the mods ive done recently.

Finally got around to getting my UUC SSK installed. all i can say is WOW what a difference. The gears are so much fun to play with now. The shifter stiffened up a lot. I like that feeling

Also i got the UUC RK magnum shift knob. (Props to Bill for the idea) WOW this makes shifting even better. The heaft of this knob is The only thing im worried about is when it starts to get real hot and i cant even touch it in the the summer time

Installed RPI scoop and BMC filter as many have done. Noticed a pretty big difference from the filter. The gains from the scoop will be noticed as you go faster and faster. Car pulls more consistantly in 4th and 5th.

Ive discovered the mods that must be done to a Z4Ms shifter to make it better than OE.
-Modified CDV
-Clutch stop
-UUC SSK
-Heavier shift knob (ZHP or UUC)
-In a couple weeks DSSR

Anyway i have my guy working on a custom magnaflow exhaust. Will update

sweet bro. i can't wait to get my exhaust from Rogue already. if i didn't have a full time job i'd have it already. anyday i am available, they are busy. anyday they are available, i am busy. blows. i have off next friday so hopefully they can do it then. I am getting a little worried about doing the SSK with rogue. I am a lil worried about being the prototype in case something goes wrong.

Either way, can you post a pic of the shifter with your interior? I have the same interior and was wondering how it looks.

Thanks bro, keep up the good work and post more pictures dammit. i really enjoy looking at pictures of "my" car while i'm at work

I havnt been hiding. Just lurking. This forum has been litered with too much "off topic" dicussion. I thought i would spark some more interest to those that actually "mod".

Pics added. And excuse all the bugs that were demolished by my front end. I was testing the scoop out on the highway I noticed 5th gear really pick up. Got to 130 in 5th from 100 (thought i was in 4th)

What did you hear about the DSSR?
I talked to them last week & they were saying 4-6 weeks

Just wondered if you knew something different?

Good choice on shift upgrades. I did all of the same and it makes a huge difference over the stock setup.

Yeah... my thoughts as well.
I have the EVO3 sitting here staring at me, saying "why haven't you installed me?"

I keep hoping the DSSR will be available soon so that I can do both at the same time.

honestly i wouldnt count on the DSSR release intgr8r. Vendors love to exaggerate release dates (not specifically UUC)

The install really wasnt hard. I would install it if i were you.(then again i HATED the stock shifter) Makes a world of difference. If/When the DSSR comes out i guess all i have to do is take out the shifter, replace for the weighted rod (DSSR) and then put the shifter back in.

Hm gotta love Black Sapphire Metallic with a hint of BUG. =]

SSK and RPI Scoop look good. Now some non-cellphone shots of those new LEDs? License, etc.

Yeah... I'm leaning that way .....
You're probably right about the DSSR shipping 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks.... who knows
The DSSR wouldn't be hard to;
it's just having to drop the exhaust & heat shield again to get at it.
