Is there a ride improvement (noise mainly) in going from RF to non-RF?

ooooohhhh yes.

Less stiff sidewalls allows for more comfy ride. Lower unsprung tire weight allows better turn-in. Noise improvements to me is just cherry on top.

Comfort and noise improvements.

Drove a RF loaner the other day and it felt so harsh.
