Talking ER Downpipes on Full AA System, how much louder.

So, I think the AA full exhaust is perfect. I'm really liking it so far. Once I get the 1200 service done I'm going to put in the JB4 and mostly will run MAP 2 with a mix of 93 & 100.

I have the Downpipes already and am just wondering if I should sell them or put them in. My only concern is how loud it's going to be. I don't care about cold start and I don't mind if it's loud at WOT, it's cruising around town with wife and kids and at stoplights that concern me.

Anyway, just wondering for those who added Downpipes did you regret it?, was it a little too loud?

Thanks, and sorry for the redundant questions, I know it's been asked before.

FWIW, got the fitment dialed in, tips are flush with Diffuser. It's perfect

I heard it really wakes up this exhaust sound in a good way no drone and rasp free! It shouldn't be to loud for everyday driving nothing to worry about. I can't wait to put my DP's on as well.

Adding downpipes to this exhaust setup won't make it unbearably loud. In fact, I think it's the perfect volume. It's not obnoxiously loud or too quiet, although I do wish it was a tad louder. This exhaust was made for downpipes! I had downpipes on my AA full exhaust, but I couldn't bare the smell of it, so I switched it out for some high flow cats.

Thanks. I'll probably end up putting them on. I just don't want it to be obnoxiously loud /Ricey etc.

I would say aa without dp is a 5, when you add downpipes it becomes a 6.5-7. Big difference, but not crazy loud.

Maybe on the same level as.... Remus Non Resonated?

I had a turbo car before with an open downpipe and it never really smelled. (Other than the sweet smell of Q16), lol

Ok thanks. I'm wondering if it's loud enough to vibrate everything in the interior of the car, or if it's still civil enough while driving around normally where it doesn't vibrate loose change etc.

Don't mind if it's loud while getting on it, just normal driving that concerns me. Maybe I can find someone local to me

AA plus catless dp's = perfect sweet combo
Not too loud, no rasp or drone! Like others have said with AA it needs dp's to get the full affect! And that smell of catless is heaven lol

It wont be overly loud because you have no exhaust valves. I didnt have much smell with that setup either.
