Do our M cars detect boots leaks?

I have a 2017 m4 and i suspect a boost leak. Loss in power in the lower rpms and car is not pulling hard. No CEL or Drivetrain malfunction light is on do our cars detect a boost leak at all?? My dealer had to pull my intercooler and intake manifold to replace a 02 sensor at 600 miles and since then its felt sluggish

If there is a minor leak it may not throw a code and will just make your turbos work harder. Best to take it back to the dealer and let them check it out.

it's got mass air meters before the turbo inlets so I would suspect it would NOT run well with a leak.

If leak is minor it might not detect it, but then again if it is minor you should not feel it.

Let us know how the appointment goes
