High Flow Catted DP

just picked up a new f83 and looking to MOD asap.

Have had catless and catted on several other cars and just cant stand the smell plus with the top down I am sure the catless would be unbearable.


does anyone make high flow catted DP

I was inquiring about sound and a vid of HFC but never was able to come across one. I was also considering them when ESS first came out with them but still have the catless DPs since I have yet to hear anything more on HFCs

if you end up getting them please post up vids and also comment on the downshift blips

imho the best and least raspy setups have been HFC or the full AA exhaust

The smell is disgusting, I agree. However, the gains are incremental really - 20-30whp when fully catless. Is the even more marginal gain over stock flow worth installing catted DP's?

If it's a sound mod, I'd start with the secondary cats (via a MP) and the axleback. Plenty of loud replacing everything after the primary cats.

AFE is a popular high flow catted option. I agree with a vert you definitely want catted too.

Your OEM are already high flow. I think its a waste.

It is my M4, i' m from Italy.
With ESS HFC definitly hear turbo spool and no bad smell.
With stock DP no hear turbo spool.
The problem is that ESS HFC cost 2300,00 euros.....

We offer AR catted downpipes, cant beat AR Design quality

do you have any pics of the catted downpipes? It seems that some old links for AR Design do not work anymore and at some point it was said that they went out of business.

AR are redesigning their website, best would be to check vendor websites for AR design photos.
they use Magnaflow 200CEL cats.

Good to see someone with a taste for quality.

Quality performance cats aren't cheap. GESI/HJC are the best in the business.
