Who or where is the site to join the track days with BMWCCA NY? I am with the DE chapter (closer to home). Can I join the NY chapter on their track days?

I wanted to do it but I'm concerned as it would be my first one. Does anyone get the insurance too? Am I going to need new tires after this? Lol.

Also did not need tires after 3 sessions if you have decent tread on your wheels you'd be fine I didn't even notice much wear on mine and I went pretty hard on the last session (as hard as you can go for novices lol) |

All novice and intermediate groups get 1:1 instructors to not only teach you (which they will!), but to keep other over-eager participants in check and busy learning. DEs are WAY safer than driving on the street with all the regular lunatics ! Sooner or later we all need new tires! It's like condoms - if you are saving and not using them, you are definitely not having any fun ! a

All Drivers:
NJ does not allow shorts, open toe shoes or as pointed out, 4pts. Gates open at 6am, we will tech cars as soon as we can so empty the cars and get online. For anyone who got bumped, NYBMWCCA sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience, please try to register earlier if possible to secure your spot for the next event which is Watkins Glen: https://www.motorsportreg.com/events...bmw-cca-997316 Remember we have to find instructors for you, leaving 2 or 3 days is difficult as most instructors already have 2 drivers to coach. All others, please print out your tech and medical forms, have fresh brake fluid, and check the helmet is in the car. Bring drinks and snacks. All gopro's and other devices in car will need to be tethered to something or asked to be removed. Lets have a great day, sunny and 65F!
