NEED HELP! AA Midpipe + Downpipe

Hey guys I have an AA Midpipe on my car, but I was planning on adding downpipes to increase the volume just a little bit. But I would like to see some more videos so I can gauge if this will ruin an already perfect exhaust or just enhance the sounds. Trust me when I say I have searched on the forums and Youtube. But no real solid videos out and I don't want to take a chance on making the car sound bad. Any help would be appreciated!

JD

Its going to be louder for sure when you get on it along with a tad of rasp but in return you get way louder pops and cracks as well.

Im assuming you have stock rear exhaust.

Here's my car with ER DPs and AA midpipe, Dinan axle-back (although since valves are open, that doesn't matter).

Also, your poll is sort of... vague.

I'm running AA Tune, AA Midpipe, and stock muffler. Hoping to increase volume more, but not hoping to loss too much of that deep bass I gained from AA Midpipe alone. The dilemma lol.

It won't remove bass but it will add more upper partials (if you're familiar with standing wave theory). A lot more.

Those cats are like a low-pass filter.

It's a good amount louder so make sure you are ready for that. I was pretty surprised how loud it was with stock axle back the first time I heard it.

I don't mind louder. Tbh I want a little more noise so I can actually hear it inside the car, weird I know. But right now the tone is awesome outside, but inside it is pretty silent. So I want to add more noise for my pleasure without upsetting the sound if that makes sense.

Downpipes create a lot more noise, it's significantly louder.

Be prepared for what ensues afterwards though. There's the smell, and the CEL that will persist. IDK where you live (I'm on mobile now) but you'll fail emissions with catless downpipes as well.

All worth it though, I enjoy the sounds my car makes

Can't possibly be, since valves are open in first video, and the AA has mufflers in all (one) modes.

Full AA will be quieter. Most people are surprised when they hear a full AA with catless DPs. It isn't that loud but sounds great. The third muffler in the rear really tones down the volume.
