Anyone use Meguiar's wash & wax?
I was at Costco and bought Meguair's carnauba wash & wax (pink slime). Anyone use it? How was your experience? 1 Gallon for $14.

I have never used it, but I can say its not something I would use on my car. Anytime you combine steps with regards to wash and wax at the same time you are giving up something as apposed to properly washing car and then applying a wax product in a separate step. I use several Meguiars products but cant say I recommend this one. However, If your not concerned about depth and shine, paint protection and you do not have the time to do a proper wash and wax, this might be a good product for you.

I haven't used it, but have seen it at Costco. I imagine its similar to Optimum no rinse, though Optimum doesn't have much suds, if any.
If your car is relatively dirt free/light dust, and you've polished/waxed your car previously, this wouldn't be too bad to use for quick and light maintenance washing. I just prefer a good wash with the foam cannon. Best of luck! |

Don't use it. I used it and I definitely did not like it. It did not suds well and it left a sheen in several instances I had to go back and clean. I do have XPEL on my whole car, so maybe the two don't work well together, but I will never use it again. I read on this forum where someone mentioned that they used Chadwick's triple play so I ordered that after using the Mequair's and I do like it after two uses.

Its car soap, use it for a full bucket and hose wash. Its not a waterless/rinse less product. It is good for a weekly wash, nothing more.

Used this Costco Carnauba Wash and Wax in conjunction with Optimum No Rinse and got good results on both a white and a red car that have good wax finishes. No spotting and the rinse water beaded off quickly.

I'm a big fan of Optimum No-Rinse irrespective of what wax or sealant you use. Great product - allows me to save water and wash my cars in my garage.
