Which Tune With Pure Turbos

I'm currently in the process of upgrading to the high flow Pure turbos. I'm also upgrading to SSP race clutch packs. The only item I'm still not sure about is the tune. I'm currently in Miami FL. I was talking to my shop, MPI, and we were talking about what tune, how many tunes, and whose tune. I'm curious to hear what everyone is using who has upgraded turbos and there experiences. Off the shelf? Custom? How does custom work if tuning remotely? Etc... I need to figure out what to do. Any help is appreciated.

Bootmod3 offers a custom tuning platform for those with PURE Turbos. We've done a couple cars that have gone this route. Bootmod3 with E50 mix and port injection put down 650WHP/680WTQ on our low reading DynoPack.

If you're in reference to the jb4 I think that is used for meth injection control more than anything, could be wrong but that's how I understand it

We dont have results for tune only, thats something you need to ask from tuners.

Do you mean why is the JB4 used in junction with the bootmod3 tune? It's because bootmod3 currently does not have meth injection control, but I believe it's in the works? (don't quote me on that). The JB4 is used for that, and boost control. With the Pure stage 2 system, I think many will recommend running meth simply for its cooling purposes. The JB4 is also necessary for port injection, if you're thinking about that too.

Does JB4 add any power over a tune on a pump fuel only setup?

Thanks. I know what a jb4 does, and it's a no brainer why 700hp+ cars run it. I am just surprised there isn't anyone around who just wants a stress-free turbo+tune+pump gas setup (like I do).

Mike, I have owned a jb4 for about a year now. So I am familiar with all the features. I think it is an awesome product and great value for what it is: a piggyback.

I have now got Pure turbos and bm3 (for now with ots st2). I am never going to run meth nor PI. So I was looking for a custom tune and don't want to be using jb4 anymore (multiple personal reasons).
It would be great if people with custom tunes could chime in and share their experience and results.

Both of them are ots maps from PTF (not custom). The map for 93 is simply the stage 2 pump map. (Which is what I have as well. it is by no means slow, but I feel there is still some potential left from custom tuning for upgraded turbos.)
You can switch back and forth in a matter of minutes.
