Mystery JB4

Hello fellas I purchased a 2015 M4 with a Dinan exhaust and burger Motorsports intake and I just found a jb4 on the car, but I don't know if it's a stage 1 or 2. Does anyone know how to tell the difference.

That would appear to be the JB4, not stage 1. Give away is that black box that's zip tied.

I knew it was a JB4, but how can you tell what stage it is?

Here's what you're looking for. For this conversation, BMS has a:

1) Stage 1 (boost additive)

2) JB4

That's all the "stages".

Now, with the JB4, you can hook up 2 connections or 4 (I think, been a while).

If you hook up all 4 connections, you have the ability to run more maps.

JB4 was the only one that tapped the wires. Stage 1 was plug and play.

So I definitely have a stage 2? (Because of the taped wires)

There is no Stage 2.

Only Stage 1 or JB4.

I really don't get what map 5 does? I wish they would give a definite hp/tq number for map 2.

Check with BMS, i know it has not been updated in over a year
