Stock M4 on NT05R's, 11.944 in the quarter mile at 7402' DA
Bandimere Speedway opening day yesterday. Finally was able to get my bone stock M4 into the 11 second group. Just barely
Had 3 sub 12 second runs: 11.970@115.20 11.986@116.87 11.944@114.92 Only change from my previous runs were the Nitto NT05R's in the rear. 305/35/19's running 25psi. The DA yesterday during my best run was 7402'. Track elevation 5800'. Here is the video from the 11.986 run: And my slips (Car 54): |

Yes a 305/30 would have been a bit more ideal, but two things; neither Mickey Thompson nor Nitto make their respective drag radials in that profile on a 19" wheel. 27.2" is really only about a 3% increase in height which IMO is negligible. The extra sidewall probably doesn't hurt on a drag radial. For stock power, I'm very satisfied with the Nitto purchase over the MT's because they hooked every run at 3500RPM launch and the MT's were $200 more. Highly recommend, I really only bought them to attempt to break 12 seconds at my at my altitude. |
