Bosch DME Variants
I am hoping someone here knows the answer...
The DME model for F8x is MEVD172G or MEVD17.2G which is also used on the 435i and is shown as an option for 335i. There are other variants for the other series: MEVD1724, MEVD1726, MEVD1729 and MEVD172P/S. Anyone knows the nomenclature of the DME models, whats the M and V in MEVD vs MEDV vs MEDC? Thanks to Railgun for his google-fu! M = Motronic E = Electronic Accelerator V = Valvetronic D = Direct Injection C = Control Last edited by aboulfad; 04-25-2017 at 04:32 PM.. |

EDC shows up in wiki as Electronic Diesel Control, but the table shows EDC17 corresponding to MEVD17.2G... |

are you in the software development business ? We use that term very often in project planning!
And it seems you know about engines (i know very little), DI = Direct Injection ? which could apply to both petrol and diesel engines ? Man, that page was in dutch, how did you find it !!! |
