645 whp 602 wtq - Pure Stage 2 Turbo + Meth + E20 Dyno

Had some more fun on the dyno this weekend. Didn't get any tuning done but was able to get a few pulls done during a dyno day bbq.

The car really surprised me. With E20 and roughly 26/27 psi I was right around 550 - 560whp in January.

Since then I've installed the BMS stealth meth kit and am running dual CM7 nozzles and 100% methanol. Using Map 8 and tuning only the boost additive (setting of 55 which has no bearing on anything anyone else does as my car has a DME tune adjusting the base target in the DME) we saw some fantastic results.

Car is still boost creeping on the top end. I'm targeting 28.1 psi but peaking at 31.5 - 31.8 depending on the pull. I'm not concerned with that peak with 20% ethanol blended in and 100% meth as well, but will work on some other solutions using Map 6 and trying to tune around the creep when I have more time.

The car actually spun on the dyno which was fun, didn't think it would do that. Ended up with 645whp and 602 wtq. The dyno plot shows it as a mustang AWD500 which it is, but the plot and values are corrected to match a local Dyno Jet that is set up with standard SAE correction etc.

I'm a happy camper. On street tires this car is hilarious enough to keep me entertained for a while. It's a hand full when you step on it and the torque hits like a freight train.

Can you post your uncorrected pull straight out of the Mustang? While Dynojet numbers are the standard for many on this board, there are others who appreciate and understand DD and Mustang graphs.

No disrespect to the DJ lovers, but those are incredibly kind dynos.

Next time I am at the shop I will pull one.

I totally understand what you are saying. The general feel on this forum at times is that if you don't make 700+ whp on new turbos your car is slow, which is incredibly innacurate.

Iirc you can drop the hp by about 18% to see mustang AWD values. Torque has a different multiplier though.

Sorry, divide by 1.21 to get mustang value.

No need to upgrade the clutch at this time. When it fries I'll look into something else, there aren't many options out there.

Only reason why people want dynojet numbers is to think their car is faster haha
Aside from that just add aprox. 18% and you have dyno jet numbers

Exactly lol.

I have just given up on caring but to try and compare to anything online it's easier to do with DJ. Mustang numbers are fucked with sooo much that I have no faith in the values people claim.

There are a few F80's out there which claim some absolutely insane hp numbers on a Mustang dyno and there's just no way to legitimize those values u less you get the car on the track.

The mustang value on my car was 535 whp. Which sounds low in Internet land but is exactly where it should be.

Good numbers

Do you have the boost limit set to 28 psi?

Boost safety is set to 31.9 psi. it was actually hitting 31.8 on the dyno so it's right on the cusp of boost cut.

The target is set to 28.1 with the boost additive set up on Map 8.

Very nice! Those are bad ass numbers. I put down 415hp to the wheels on a AWD mustang Dyno. Burger Tuning was my only mode (Stage 1). So if we have about an 18% delta to a dyno jet that would put my car around 490hp to the wheels. Good comparison for folks here on a car with minor mods vs. this beast!
