Pedal vibration when driving through rain. E92 m3 ESS supercharged

When I drive through rain and low amounts of water, my gas pedal violently vibrates. Is this due to the cold air intake taking in water or something else?

edit: the engine doesnt feel like it is running rough, it just feels like pedal vibration that is intense.

Gas pedal in your car is not mechanically connected to anything other than floor board. So most likely whole car vibrates, and you just feel it through the pedal.

Did you check your car's alignment recently? What's your front tires vs rear tires set up? What wheels are you riding?

Thanks for the reply,

I've been having vibration issues after installing Active Autowerkes HFC and X pipe in my floorboard pedals and shifter. While driving in the rain the gas pedal vibration is immensely amplified.

I have Volk ZE40 (18x9.5+2-f, 18x10.5+20r)
Nitto NT-05 (265/35/18f, 295/35/18r)
AP Racing Radi-Cal Big Brake Kit
Ohlin Dual Flow Valve Coilovers
Eibach Front Springs (to fit vorshlag camber plates)
Vorshlag Camber Plates

Thank you for your reply.

I have another post detailing my issues with vibration coming from the exhaust after installing an X pipe and HFC and what I have done to try to fix it. I'll link that here.

Update:

Installed and took off straight pipes instead of the HFC. The vibration in the shifter went away and the vibration in the floor and pedals definitely went down but was still there. This vibration is not from anything physically touching - it is from the exhaust vibrating the car. I'm worried that something must be wrong with the car for it to be lightly vibrating at all. the vibrating feels like the pedal is tickling your foot and the same feeling with the floor. Any ideas?
