Montreal F1 Grand Prix Trip

Few of us from MD will be heading up north to Montreal to watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix race. Going to be caravaning up north on the morning of 6/8 (Thursday).

Just checking to see if anyone else will be attending.

I will be, but coming up from NY. I know of a bunch of people from NY/NJ/PA/CT all meeting up at some point off of 87 I think, and driving together. I'm trying to meet with them as well, but I have a buddy of mine flying up from NC Thursday Morning, which will be later than everyone is planning on leaving. He's trying to see if he can change the flight to the night before so we can go together with everyone.

I'll be coming up from CT, but haven't figured out exact timing yet. Any recommendations on what areas to stay in?

Find some lodging ASAP, things are probably pretty filled up already.

I went to F1 weekend Montreal for my bachelor party weekend, what a fun time. Love that city!

Thanks for the advice - literally every hotel I looked at was full, ended up with one of the last few airbnbs. Crazy!

Yeah please keep us posted. We will probably stop 2-3 times en route. One probably just past nyc, another one somewhere in the middle and the 3rd one just before the border to fill up with gas since the gas is a bit more costly in Canada.

I am also looking at some nice driving roads that run parallel to I-87 for a short detour off the highway so we'll see.
