check and see if the mass fuel sensor's is tightened down all the way or rotated back to its original position. I personally never had this problem but I've been told a little fuel does drip out.

EWG wires are fine. Doesn't matter what connector you hook up to

Thanks for this. I didn't rotate my mass fuel sensor but I'll double check my connections. Some coolant did spill on it.

Would you have any idea why it sputtered and choked before swapping out the connections?

not too sure.... the map and t-map sensors hooked up correctly and not swapped?
