Hey all -
Picked up a used CPO 2015 M4 with 12k miles on it a few months ago and everything has seemed fine. Car is totally stock. If I don't drive the car for a few days, I've had a few instances where it idles really rough for about 10-20 seconds and then seems to wake up and be normal again. If I give it a little juice while it is idling rough, it seems to come back too. If I drive everyday, no problem. Anyone else seen something like this? I'd hate to leave it at the dealer for a few days for them just to tell me nothing is wrong. I've seen others having seemingly similar problems but they've all had mods done and seemed more severe, so I'm not sure if I'm seeing the same thing. Thanks |

2016 ZCP DCT with 9k on the clock sits frequently for 2-3 days and up to a week depending on weather here in Colorado. Mine seems to start and run fine every time. The DCT does seem to be a little jerky when it sits for days until it warms up some, but other than that, no issues.
Can you shoot a video and post?

Yea, will do. I'll try to have the camera at the ready. Though now that the nice weather is here (I'm also in Colorado), those periods of sitting will be less frequent.... Good to know you haven't had any issues in the same climate. I might just drop it and let them try to sort it out. Worst case scenario, I can play with a loaner for a few days I guess...
