What exactly do I need to change to get the iDrive 6 Lite coded, want to see if I like the look!

HMI_VERSION: id4_plus_plus or id5
HMI_ID_VERSION: id4_plus_plus, id5, id5_plus_plus, id6_light, id6

If you do not have those, then you need newer firmware.

That is what I assumed the whole time.

I changed to id6 light, but the layout keeps the same. Does something else need to change also?

Nothing even works anymore, I need the code to unlock navigation know, it’s disabled

Raising from the dead.....same thing here coded ID6 lite from id5 = nothing happens. Tried it a few times with same results. What gives?

It is possible you need software update on vehicles first. Could also be you selected cider other than code fdl.
