So about the Sports Displays...
As I've seen from a few videos online and my own personal experience, the sports display shows the BHP reaches up to 480 BHP sometimes on the digital sports display.
I know BMW are conservative when they list their horespower / torque figures but can the stock car really make 480 BHP? Is that sports display really accurate or is it just a gimmick? Speaking of the sports display, if the standard M4 can reach up to 480BHP at times when pushed to the limit, what about the competition pack? how high does the horsepower and torque reach? I would guess slightly higher up to 500 BHP and maybe 630NM of Torque?

Sport displays are inaccurate. They use very simple formula for their calculation.

The car does in fact make about 480 HP based on real world dyno's (~425WHP) and trap speed results (117-119), so in a sense it's a picture of what the car is capable of, but I don't think it's 100% accurate in real time...

Think of it the same way as you look at your speedometer.
